Apple Oatmeal Bake
INGREDIENTS
2 cups rolled oats
1 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp ginger
½ tsp nutmeg
½ tsp cardamom
¼ tsp all spice
1 tbsp flaxseed meal
1/3 cup coconut sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 ½ cups MH milk
1 egg room temp
1/4 cup unsweetened apple sauce
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp MH butter, melted
1 large apple diced

PREPARATION
Combine all the above ingredients in one bowl (except the apples).
Dice the apple and layer on the bottom of the greased baking pan (8 x 10).
Pour the oatmeal mixture over the apples.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45-55 minutes until solid, not loose and until it has a little crunch on top.
Serving suggestions (serve warm or room temp):
Enjoy it as is
Enjoy in a bowl soaked in Maple Hill Milk, then topped with a nut butter, a drizzle of Maple Syrup, and diced uncooked apples for a little crunch
